U-Picks & Workshops

While this is a flower farm filled with gorgeous blooms, it's still a farm.  That means you can expect bugs, mosquitoes, irrigation, mud, animals, weird noises & smells, and sometimes rough terrain. You'll want to wear appropriate shoes (we recommend boots or sneakers). Don't forget your sunscreen and bug spray! 

Please don't chase the ducks, as this causes stress. The ducks have free range of the garden and will most likely visit with you while you cut flowers.  

If you have children attending, they must be supervised at all times for their safety.

We LOVE dogs.  But my dogs probably won't like your dogs.  Zeppelin is a protector of his fenced area and therefore, no outside pets or animals are allowed as he will see them as a threat. 

Bathrooms are not available so you'll want to make sure you take care of that before you head out. 

If Virginia weather decides to be wild and stormy, we will offer one rain date.

Parking space is limited, so we encourage carpooling.

While we expect pick your own sessions to fill up quickly, a minimum of 4 people is required to hold a session.  In the event the minimum is not met, your admission will be refunded.

Private pick your own flower sessions are also available. A minimum of 4 people is required for a private pick your own session. Email us at hiddengemfarmva@gmail.com to book a private session. 

Children under 4 are free with adult ticket. Children 5-10 will get a discounted ticket and a smaller jar. All participants over 10 will need to purchase an adult ticket.t

Want to bring a friend or family member that doesn't want to pick their own flowers or a child that doesn't want their own arrangement and just wants to help you?  Admission for these folks is $15.00 for a "just looking" ticket.  

Admission is non-refundable (except in the event of severe weather for initial session AND rain date), but they are transferrable to a friend! Send us an email at hiddengemfarmva@gmail.com to let us know who is coming in your place

A waiver form must be signed by each participant at the beginning of the session. 

Tours of the animal fields and animal cuddling/petting will not be permitted during these sessions. You will most likely see some of our animals wandering around though.
